Holy Cow! We played at a Farm!
5 Sep
This is, by far, one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life. I got a call from Natalie Nicole saying, “Judith, do want to play at a Farm?”
Of course!!!!!!!
We spent the day at the Denham Farm, somewhere north of LA. Got to see cows and pigs, and I even chased a chicken (just a little… I’ve aaalways wanted to do that. Bad, Judy!).
We played “Can’t Save Myself” and I backed Natalie on guitar on several of her songs.
The entire day was surreal. Being away from the city, surrounded by strawberry fields… or raspberries, I think. Those kind of experiences that are good for the soul.
And the SOUND. The sound system was amazing. Best monitor mix I’ve ever heard in my life! That’s always a treat.
Life is good.
Love,
Judy

Thanks (yet agaaaain!) to Natalie Nicole Gilbert for inviting Alan Bruni and me to perform at a house concert. House concerts are the best. A very gracious host usually organizes a small party. You attend said party, perform, and then continue on partying. I spent the night getting to know a lot of people, eating shrimp and brownies (not at the same tiiiime!), and having a lovely evening.
Performed with Natalie Nicole Gilbert and her band at the Cat Club in Hollywood tonight! Can’t tell you what an amazing person Natalie is. There are no words. I’m happy I get to work with her and be her friend.
On August 3rd, I’m going to be joining Natalie Nicole Gilbert and her band for a couple of songs at the Cat Club in Hollywood.
