Detached – Los Angeles Film School

27 Sep

Yesterday, I attended a private screening of the film Detached by out of exile films at the Los Angeles Film School. The coolest thing about working on a film is eventually getting to watch it on a huge screen with huge movie theater sound.

I love iiiiit!

Here’s a picture of Sasha (the lead character in the film), Cabo (hip hop artist who wrote 4 songs on the film’s soundtrack), and me hanging right outside the theater, by the movie poster.

Detached Screening

Tianna Langham, Chris Bessounian, Judith de los SantosHelloooooo!

I hope everyone’s doing great. It was COLD in Los Angeles today! I still get confused when the weather is not nice and warm…

Yesterday, I attended a screening of the feature film Detached by out of exile films. It was a party for the cast and crew and a great chance to get to know everyone involved a little better.

The screening took place at the house where the film was shot, and that was a pretty interesting experience… to be watching the living room in the film while sitting IN it. hahaha!

Big Hug,
Judy

Sobrecamas Press

7 Oct

There’s a first time for everything. At noon today, we got to do a little bit of press stuff for the short film, “Sobrecamas”. We talked to reporters and were invited to a radio show on Wednesday! I was a little nervous about saying the wrong thing (I’m ALWAYS nervous… I hope this goes away with time. hehehe!)… but the reporters were incredibly nice and kind and that made us feel at ease.

I should also mention, “Sobrecamas” will be featured in a Mexican TV show called Abrelatas, that airs independent short films! More info when I get it.

Love,
Judith

Second Sobrecamas Screening

7 Oct

Screening of Sobrecamas in MoreliaThe second screening of “Sobrecamas” went very well! By the time we left the theater, we found out that a newspaper from Morelia had written a review of the short films screening from the day before and mentioned “Sobrecamas” as one of the highlights! Yeaaaah!

Click here to read the review. Translation coming soon.
