Mexico Show – THANK YOU

19 Jan

The Band at El Tumbaito

The show last night was absolutely AWESOME. We are so happy that we got a chance to play at El Tumbaito. The place is beautiful, and the stage has a very warm vibe. Over 150 people showed up! Unbelievable.

Thank you so, soooooo much to everyone that made it. I mean it. You made it such a special night for us. It was great to see you, and we hope you had a good time!

There’s TONS of photos and videos from the show and rehearsals. I’ll be uploading them as soon as I can! So, come back sooooooon!

Cheers,
Judy

Fuerza Aérea Radio Show 90.5

13 Jan

Judith at Fuerza Aerea Radio ShowYesterday, I went to the 90.5 Fuerza Aerea radio show in Monterrey. Ricardo Ramos, the host, was awesome. We talked about the process of making All of the Above, future plans for recording, and about the upcoming show at El Tumbaito.

Ricardo played four songs from the CD and he let me perform two songs live, which was a new experience for me. I loved it. I had such a good time.

Judith at Fuerza Aerea Radio ShowOne of the best parts about the interview was the topics that Ricardo chose to talk about. He knows a lot about music and always kept the conversation focused on the most interesting parts of being a musician and a songwriter.

I will be posting some of the things we talked about in the journal page in a couple of weeks. Right now, I’m trying to get everything ready for the show next week!

Big, big hug to everyone. Have a great weekend! (And happy birthday to Alain and Rafa!!!)

Cheers,
Judith

Happy New Year!

11 Jan

Judith and Camila wishing you a Happy New YearHi, guys!

Happy New Year! I hope everybody had a wonderful time celebrating. :)

Life is good. Website updates… not so good. I’m working on several different things at the moment and haven’t had much time to post new things. My apologies.

The most exciting thing at the moment is I’m playing a show in Monterrey next week! I can’t wait. I’ll be joined on stage at El Tumbaito Latin Bar by Alexander Knutsen on Electric Guitar, Jack DeBoe on Drums, Pablo Gonzalez on Bass, Noel Savon on Percussion, and Alejandro Cervantes on Piano/Violin.

As you can see, we have 3 different musicians in the lineup for this performance and I’m looking forward to see what they will bring to the songs. (We’re still gonna miss Matt and Ian!) Check out the Shows page for date/venue info and join us if you’re in town!

More soon.

Rock on,
Judy and Camila (one of our dogs)
